London chaos: Police descend on Tube station after reports of a double stabbing

A teenager has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed at West Ham Tube station today. 

The police were called to the station in east London after reports of a stabbing at 6.51pm today. 

A teenager was found suffering from stab wounds and was soon  taken to hospital. 

A second male was also found with stab wounds at Abbey Road DLR station a short time before. 

A Met Police spokesman said: “Police were called to West Ham Underground Station at 18.51hrs on Saturday, 5 September to reports of a stabbing.

“Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service. A teenage male was found with stab injuries.

“He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. We await an update on his condition.

“A short time later, another teenage male was found with stab injuries at Abbey Road Underground Station.

“He was also treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital.

“We await an update on his condition. There have been no arrests. A crime scene is in place.”
