THE return of Casa Amor, two shock evictions and the arrival of 12 new contestants all took place in Love Island’s fourth week back on TV.
While fans are sure to be overwhelmed with all the exhilarating drama here are the important highlights from the show this week.
Maura certainly wasn’t happy when she rushed to the girls and informed them about what she had overheard Tom saying in the garden.
All of the male islanders encouraged Tom to speak with Maura, having hoped that she would forgive him for his banter.
During their conversation, however, the grid girl was angered knowing that someone she was getting to know had talked about her in a derogatory manner.
As the night progressed and Islanders relaxed in the garden, Maura received a text, saying: “Islanders. Tonight, there will be a recoupling. The boys will choose, and the girl not picked to be in a couple will be dumped from the Island. #ByeFelicia #GirlCrushed”
Neither Arabella or Yewande knew where they stood with the hunk from Hull.
Completely puzzled with the decision he was going to make, Danny said in the Beach Hut: “If I pick Yewande and it goes back to how it is then I’ve only got myself to blame. I could be missing out something quite special with Arabella.”
In the end, Danny opted to save Arabella which subsequently saw Yewande pack her belongings and leave the villa.
Yewande’s shock elimination from the villa caused the girls to turn against Danny asking why he chose Arabella over the scientist.
“It’s just unfortunate how people can hold a grudge for me doing what’s best for myself,” the model fired back, while the only person who seemed to fully stand behind Danny was Anton.
Elsewhere, Maura and Tom appeared to have patched up their differences after their “all mouth” clash.
Maura told her Love Island partner that she was impressed with the speech he gave before choosing her as the girl he wanted to couple up with.
The two embraced each other with a passionate kiss, as Molly-Mae jokingly declared: “There’s literally a bedroom right there.”
But despite their intimate moment together, which gave the impression that things were looking good for the two, Tom shared his concerns about Maura with Jordan the next day.
“If another girl comes in that makes a beeline for me and she’s fit and she ticks all my boxes,” he said.
On the daybeds, Jordan informed Anna about his chat with Tom the night prior – when the model confessed that Maura was not exactly ticking all of his boxes.
The conversation later led Anna to have a word with Maura, letting her know how Tom had been going to Jordan for advice on their coupling – and to no surprise, it infuriated the grid girl.
Molly-Mae received a text revealing how the Islanders would take part in the Online Buzz challenge, with contestants finding out what the public thought of them.
Lucie and Anton – who were the hosts – read out a viewer’s tweet and the couples had to guess who it was about.
The tweet that caused the most controversy was: “Nah BLANK deserves more than BLANK she doesn’t like him, she likes 50k”
When Tom correctly answered Tommy and Molly-Mae, the blonde beauty stood in absolute shock before saying in the Beach Hut: “Wow. I’m actually fuming.
On the terrace, Maura asked Lucie what she thought about the chance of her getting back with Tommy, and instead of shutting her down, the surfer admitted that her male friends usually end up dating her.
Lucie didn’t rule out a potential reconciliation with Tommy if the opportunity presented itself.
Maura laid into Tom after discovering he’d made comments to Jordan about her.
The furious grid girl knew there was something up after her chat with Anna Vakili.
Maura said: “The first few days that you were in, I was like, I couldn’t work it out and then I realised ‘oh my god, he must have really relaxed’ because you were like a different person,”
Elsewhere, Tommy and Molly-Mae were treated to an adventurous date outside of the villa following a text, which revealed: “Tommy and Molly-Mae you’re going on a date, please get ready to leave the villa #saddleup #toohottotrot.”
During a chat with the girls later on, Lucie argued that she wasn’t going to stop being herself around Tommy just because people feel uncomfortable about it.
She insisted: “I’m not going to stop talking to him or stop acting like I did before around him, because I think that’s not really fair. It’s not normal.
Finally, Caroline Flack appeared – and the Islanders knew this was not going to be a good thing,
The Islanders gathered around the fire pit before Caroline revealed the three couples who’d been saved – Tommy and Molly-Mae, Lucie and Anton Danyluk and Michael and Amber.
The saved couples divided into boys and girls, with the boys (Tommy, Anton and Michael) deciding which girl to dump, and the girls (Molly-Mae, Lucie and Amber) deciding which boy to dump.
Subsequently, Arabella and Tom were sent home.
Anton and Lucie had a chat about her recent comments concerning Tommy Fury, having previously told Maura to “never say never” when asked if there was a chance she would still want to rekindle things with the boxer.
A little later, Maura also received a text, which read: “Girls, you’re going on a mini break… get ready to leave the villa… And head to Casa Amor! #GirlsOnTour #BoyHi”
After celebrating their arrival at Casa Amor, the girls were joined by Caroline Flack, who welcomed the female Islanders to their new home.
“While you are away, the boys are going to be going back to the villa. The boys will not be alone, they will be getting to know six new girls,” the brunette revealed.
But that wasn’t all: Six boys – Dennon Lewis, Dan Rose, Marvin Brooks, Stevie Bradley, George Rains and Ovie – joined the ladies in Casa Amor, and it wasn’t long before heads started turning.
Anna hinted that her romance with Jordan Hames could potentially be in jeopardy, saying in the Beach Hut: “When the boys came out, the first thing that I thought was woah, Ovie was so tall and handsome.”
“Literally I was just starting at him, wow… He is 28, 6 foot 7 and he’s just gorgeous. I’m really excited. Jordan who?”
And while everyone was getting acquainted in Casa Amor, six new bombshells had made their arrival at the main villa – Belle Hassan, Joanna Chimonides, Jourdan Riane, Lavena Back, Nabila Badda and Maria Wild.
