Man dies on plane after swallowing 250 packets of cocaine

The Japanese national, Udo N, had boarded a flight leaving for Mexico after consuming the class A drug.

He had earlier come to Mexico City from Bogota, Colombia, according to reports.

But stunned passengers reported seeing the man convulsing on a Aeromexico flight to Tokyo.

He suffered a cardiac arrest after overdosing on 246 packets of cocaine.

The horror unfolded shortly after take-off, experts determined.

The plane was then forced to make an emergency landing in Mexico.

According to officials the bags measured 2.5cm long and 1cm wide, and were found in the man’s stomach and intestines.

The remaining 198 passengers were later able to continue their journey following the emergency landing in the city of Hermosillo.

Mexican authorities are now probing the death.
