DEAN HENDERSON is reportedly braced for another loan spell at Sheffield United with the player to hold talks with Manchester United this week.
The England youth international has been ever-present for the Blades this season – featuring in all 45 Championship games under Chris Wilder.
The 22-year-old has starred between the sticks at Bramall Lane – keeping more clean sheets than any other goalkeeper to help United reach the Premier League.
Henderson signed a new two-year deal at Old Trafford last summer to fend off interest from Arsenal who were vying to bring him to the Emirates.
But the player has already stated his intentions to remain at the Yorkshire club for next campaign with United to play top-flight football for the first time in 12 years.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side could offer Henderson a new contract, as they still look to tie under-performing David De Gea down to a new deal.
While they also state that discussions will be held this week about extending Henderson’s loan at Sheffield United.
But they could face competition from Bayern Munich for his signature, with the Bundesliga outfit reportedly keeping a close eye on the youngster this season.
Speaking on his future, Henderson said: “It made me really emotional to get this club back to where they belong.

“For me, personally, I was really emotional and I’ve just told the gaffer then ‘don’t let me leave’.
“Obviously, it comes down to the two clubs to agree on money and stuff, so I’ll be itching to come back here next season.”
