A MAN who knifed a fellow train passenger to death searched online for news of the attack hours later, a court was told.
Darren Pencille, 36, launched a “savage and unrelenting” onslaught on Lee Pomeroy, 51, after an argument, jurors heard.
Pencille got off the London-bound train and was picked up by girlfriend Chelsea Mitchell, 28, at Clandon, Surrey.
Their later internet searches included “Man stabbed to death onboard Guildford train”, the Old Bailey heard.
Pencille, who had a beard at the time, also researched hotels and where to buy clippers after the January attack.
Pencille, of no fixed address, denies murder.
