Martial heads into Man Utd training with parking ticket still stuck onto Range Rover ahead of crunch Liverpool clash

ANTHONY MARTIAL may be fit in time to play against Liverpool – but the Manchester United ace didn’t look in the best of moods when arriving to training today.

The 23-year-old drove into Carrington with a parking ticket still stuck on the windshield of his Range Rover as he looks to start against the Reds at Old Trafford.

He has become the second Premier League star to find himself in hot water after pictures emerged of Roberto Firmino leaving his Lamborghini parked in a disabled bay.

While Martial’s team-mate Paul Pogba left his £250,000 motor in a disabled spot last month, before he was told to “stop driving like a w*****” by one angry motorist.

Martial picked up a groin injury during the Red Devils’ 2-0 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain, and was expected to be out until the end of the month.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed that he – and Jesse Lingard – are in contention to face Jurgen Klopp’s men tomorrow as they look to cut the gap on Liverpool to 11 points.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference yesterday, the Norwegian said: “We are looking okay. I hope Jesse will be okay. I more hope than think Anthony will be okay.

“They have got to get through these two sessions, they have not been part of it [training] yet. They have been doing some recovery work.

“Every single player has their attributes and I think we showed against Chelsea that we can manage without them.

“We have got options, it is a big squad with good players and everyone is eager to play this game.

“If they [Martial and Lingard] don’t make it, then it might be the same team that played against Chelsea.”

SunSport exclusively revealed that the pair are being rushed back as Solskjaer has no faith in Alexis Sanchez, with the Chilean’s future at the club looking doomed.

It is also understood that United would be willing to listen to offers for the ex-Arsenal ace in the summer.
