“It would make sense if they bough someplace out in LA”
The revelation comes after UK taxpayers ended up footing a £2.4million bill for the couple to do up their Windsor home, Frogmore Cottage.
But, it appears the Sussexes are eying up property stateside before Harry, 34, joins US TV legend Oprah Winfrey on a series about mental health.
Royal expert Emily Andrews predicts they will buy a place in LA, meaning little Archie will be able to see more of Grandma Doria.
She told Yahoo’s The Royal Box: “This project with Oprah, while it’s not going to be the first initiative of the Sussex Royals, is a big push they are doing in the US market to try and attract donors for their new foundation.
“I think they’ll probably buy somewhere in America – of course, Doria lives in LA.”
She added: “We know Doria and Meghan are very close, Doria has been a very special and intrinsic part of Archie’s life and it would make sense if they bought someplace out in LA.
“Somewhere where they could go for holidays, school holidays and Doria could stay too.”
The expert’s comments come after a list telling Meghan and Harry’s neighbours the “dos and don’t” when meeting them was circulated.
Among the list of banned activities include not even saying “Good Morning” to them, or stroking their dog – even if it ran over to the neighbours.
But the Sussexes soon issued a statement where the pair said they had nothing to do with the list.
It is understood the list was circulated by members of the royal household.
A Buckingham Palace spokeswoman said: “The Duke and Duchess didn’t request this, didn’t know about it, and had nothing to do with it.”
