Royal fans had begun to believe the rift was finally over after Meghan and Kate Middleton’s day out at the Wimbledon Women’s Final together where they appeared to show the world a united front.
But despite the recent reconciliations, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Instagram account may hold clues to a different story.
It appears the Sussexes are snubbing the Cambridges out of their posts.
Prince Philip’s birthday was marked with a photo of him and Harry posted on the Sussexes’ Instagram page.
But an uncropped version of the snap shows Prince William was actually standing on the other side of the Duke of Edinburgh.
The photo seems to have been cropped so William didn’t appear in the Instagram shot.
At Trooping the Colour in June, Kate, Harry and Meghan arrived in the same carriage, while William was on horseback.
However, looking at the photo posted to Instagram, Kate was completely missed out of the opening shot of the couple on the official celebration of the Queen’s birthday.
Meghan and Harry were slammed earlier this year for their “ill-mannered” post to Prince William on his birthday.
The Duke of Cambridge turned 37 and to mark the occasion Kensington Palace shared a snap of the royal on social media.
Meghan Markle and Harry commented on Instagram and said: “Happy Birthday to The Duke of Cambridge!”
But some users criticised the Sussexes after they recently penned less formal messages to other members of the royal family.
One said: “@sussexroyal well well well, what a cold happy birthday”
Another wrote: “@sussexroyal doesn’t sound like you wanna wish him at all.”
One more added: “@sussexroyal really? That’s all? And just calling him Duke when you love to speak of yourselves as HRH? Lol, that’s just such a display of ill manners.”
Concerns of a rift between the couples reached fever pitch when it was announced that Meghan and Harry would move out of Kensington Palace and into their own home in Windsor.
The Palace declined to comment.
