Ekaterina K, a doctor specialising in dermatology and sexually transmitted diseases, was found dead in her Moscow flat yesterday – prompting a full-scale murder investigation.
Cops are now probing her past relationships and whether “jealousy” could have triggered the brutal attack.
Ekaterina, who had 80,000 Instagram followers, had broken up with a 32-year-old lover and started a relationship with an older man.
She and her new partner had reportedly planned a trip to The Netherlands.
Ekaterina’s parents became concerned after she stopped answering her phone, asking her landlord to check the flat.
He then found the body and immediately notified the police.
Ekaterina was a beauty pageant contestant in Moscow and qualified from the prestigious Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University.
Her last Instagram post was about a trip to Corfu on July 22.
