NEWCASTLE legend Faustino Asprilla has revealed his anguish after five cows and a beloved bull was stolen from his farm in homeland Colombia.

The popular ‘Tino’, 46, says he feels “depressed” when watching football without Lagrimon – the bull he petted for more than four years.

The controversial forward spent three seasons at St James’s Park between 1996 and 1998, scoring 18 goals in 60 games for the Toon Army.

And although his fellow Colombian – legendary Carlos Valderrama – once said he could have become one of football’s finest players, Asprilla was more known for his out-of-pitch antics.

‘Tino’ has revealed he celebrated his famous hat-trick against Barcelona in 1997 by landing a FOURSOME with Real Madrid fans.

But when an opportunity to exploit his talent in the adult film industry came around he rejected it – although has once appeared naked on the front of SoHo magazine.

And Asprilla – now a producer of flavoured condoms – has shared yet another story from his eventful life and opened up about his anguish caused by thefts who stole livestock worth £12,000 from his farm in the Tulua area in Colombia.

He told local news site Noticias Caracol: “Some people come onto the ranch I have called San Jeronimo and took the bull and five other cows.

“They entered the farm in a sudden, they broke a part of the wiring and took the animals out through there and put them into a lorry on a farm opposite mine. They took them.”

‘Tino’ claims that he is now unable to enjoy watching football as much without his fellow sport enthusiast Lagrimon – the bull he petted for more than four years.

He added: “Seriously, such depression watching my Atletico National without the company of Lagrimon.

“He has been my pet for years, he’s like a part of my family. I’d been with Lagrimon for between four and five years.

“The police came, carried out an investigation and they are going to start looking for clues.”
