NEYMAR has appeared to mock Paris Saint-Germain by claiming his best memory in football is beating them.
Neymar has spent the past two years with the French club after deciding he wanted to quit Barcelona to try to lead them to Champions League glory.
But the move has turned sour with the Brazilian unable to make the impact in Europe he had hoped, and he is now desperately trying to find a way back to La Liga.
And the 27-year-old has given more fuel to the fire which suggests he is no longer happy at PSG by admitting he has fond memories of one of the darkest days in the club’s recent history.
The French club had seemed destined to book a place in the Champions League quarter-finals after thumping Barcelona 4-0 in the first leg in Paris.
But in the return leg in Spain, Neymar scored one of the goals as Barca pulled off a stunning 6-1 victory in the Nou Camp to complete a remarkable comeback.
That defeat still rankles with the hierarchy at Qatar-funded PSG, who went out and broke the bank to sign Neymar as a result as they desperately tried to chase European glory.
But asked in a Q&A about his best memory in football, Neymar pulled no punches to keep his employers happy.
He said: “What we felt when we scored the sixth goal I never felt something like this, it was incredible.
“Best memory in the locker room? Ah, I don’t know.
“Well, when we won against PSG with Barcelona it was completely… we all went crazy afterwards!
“I believe it was the best possible feeling for all of us.”

Last week Neymar posted a picture of himself in Barcelona kit, another hint he wants to make a stunning return to his old club.
But whether Barca will be able to afford the superstar is in some doubt, especially after forking out £108million to sign Antoine Griezmann last week.
And Barca are now thought to be as much as £800m in debt, so funding a transfer fee and wages to sign Neymar looks a major stretch unless they can inject some funds into the club.
