Pakistan and Afghanistan fans throw punches, bottles and BINS at each other in shocking scenes during Cricket World Cup clash


CRICKET thugs threw bottles and BINS at each other during Pakistan’s dramatic Cricket World Cup victory over Afghanistan.

A plane with political messages flew over Leeds earlier today, sparking brawls outside the Headingley Stadium.

And the violence continued after the match finished with video footage showing hooligans throwing objects at each other in the stands.

Pakistan and Afghanistan fans were seen hurling bottles, backpacks and BINS as well as trading punches at Headingley.

According to Sky cricket writer Saj Sadiq, one bottle hit the glass front of the press-box.

Reports claim that a number of fans were evicted from the stadium after scuffles in the crowd.

Others were believed to have been arrested by West Yorkshire Police after violence clashes broke out at Headingley before midday.

A video emerged on social media showing Pakistan and Afghanistan hooligans – wearing flags of their countries – throw bottles at fans supporting their opponents.
