THE parents of a five-year-old boy who drowned on holiday were woken by the “harrowing screams” of the hotel guest found his lifeless body floating in the pool.
Little Theo Treharne-Jones from Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, was found floating face-down at the Atlantica Holiday Village in Kos after wandering off before breakfast.
An inquest heard how mum Nina and dad Richard were “woken to screams that a boy had been found in a pool.”
They then realised that tragic Theo was missing from their suite.
Coroner Rachel Knight was told the harrowing new details in a written report from Kos.
She adjourned the inquest until next year and released his body for a funeral.
Greek cops are investigating the tragedy and have quizzed Theo’s parents and hotel staff over his death.
