Being Dustin Johnson’s better-half does have its advantages.
On Monday, Paulina Gretzky watched Johnson seal his Tour Championship victory from the course at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. While Gretzky, 31, had a front-row seat to Johnson’s $15 million win, other members of her family couldn’t see it at all.
“When the power goes out but you have to watch @djohnsonpga WIN,” Ty Gretzky’s wife Sara posted to her Instagram story, showing the woodsy scenery.
Johnson, 36, has been piling on the wins in recent weeks, including last month’s Northern Trust, which was an emotional triumph for Gretzky. As Johnson competed in Massachusetts, Gretzky paid tribute to the pair’s special cheerleader, her late aunt.
“Rest in Peace my beautiful aunt Cindy,” the 31-year-old posted to her Instagram story at the time. “I know we have an angel watching over us & cheering on dustin today.. i miss you already.”
In a separate post, Gretzky shared a video of the couple’s two sons, Tatum, 5, and River, 3, gushing over Johnson.
“Dad’s the best,” Tatum said in the sweet clip, also calling him the “best golfer.”
Gretzky and Johnson have been engaged since 2013.
