PIERS Morgan was booed by thousands of Chelsea fans at Soccer Aid as he bawled Arsenal chants at the team’s Stamford Bridge ground.
And, with his customary relish for winding people up, he absolutely loved it.
The star later continued to goad his rivals on Twitter[/caption]
The 54-year-old Good Morning Britain host got on the wrong side of the crowd, which was packed with West Londoners.
He used his on-pitch interview with fellow Arsenal fan Dermot O’Leary, he grabbed his mic and said: “How about a little sing along?
“Given we’re are Stamford Bridge. And it’s Arsenal, Arsenal FC, we’re by far the greatest team the world has ever seen.”
Unsurprisingly, given his delight at goading rival football fans, he smiled as thousands of them booed him.

Piers is managing the World team alongside I’m A Celeb champ Harry Redknapp, commanding a side that includes Niall Horan, Love Island’s Kem Cetinay and Line of Duty’s Martin Compston.
There are also pro footballers including Roberto Carlos, Robbie Keane, Eric Cantona and Didier Drogba.
Meanwhile, Piers’ Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid is assistant-managing the England team with former England manager Sam Allardyce.
On her side is Marvin Humes, Ben Shephard and Mark Wright while Jamie Redknapp, John Terry, Michael Owen made up the pro side of things.
One notable absence this year is Olly Murs.
The singer revealed he will not be returning this time around because ongoing knee issues have kept him out of action.
