A Polish butcher has admitted committing a string of lewd acts, after changing his plea on the first day of his trial.
Pawel Relowicz, 25, pleaded guilty to burgling houses to steal sex toys, masturbating in public and voyeurism, during a hearing at Sheffield Crown Court.
Dressed in a grey t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms with a religious cross around his neck, Relowicz, of Raglan Street, Hull, admitted the offences through an interpreter at the start of a planned two-week trial.
He pleaded guilty to four counts of voyeurism, three counts of burglary and two counts of outraging public decency.
Several further charges – two counts of burglary, one count of handling stolen goods and one count of outraging public decency – were laid on file by the prosecution.
The defendant will be sentenced later on Monday.
Almost all of his crimes had a sordid tinge, with vibrators and sex toys stolen during two of the three burglaries – which took place in July-August 2017, December 2017 and January 2019.
He also admitted watching four people during private moments for his own sexual gratification in July 2017, February 2018, May 2018 and December 2018.
In January 2019, he was seen masturbating in public on two separate occasions.
