The Prince, 71, took to social media to share a Happy Father’s Day message and pictures.
One of the snaps, taken in 1951, shows a young Charles being carried by the Duke of Edinburgh alongside the Queen who is holding Princess Anne.
They are in the grounds of Clarence House in the black and white photo.
The second picture is of Charles and his sons at Cirencester Park Polo Cup in 2004.
The caption said: “Whether you are a Father, a Dad, a Daddy or a Pa, wishing you a Happy Father’s Day!”
The post prompted a string of comments from royal fans.
A Twitter user said: “Happy Father’s Day to Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince Harry and especially Prince Philip.”
Another wrote on Instagram: “Lovely! Happy Fathers Day!!”
A third commented: “Wishing your highness a lovely Father’s Day.”
Another said: “Happy Fathers Day to you.”
One more added: “Beautiful. Happy Father’s Day.”
Charles is unlikely to see other members of the Royal Family today as they have stayed apart during the coronavirus lockdown at residences around the country.
