Princess Charlotte looks exactly like Diana in Prince William’s birthday photos

A series of candid photos were shared to Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s Instagram account that show the Duke alongside members of the family to commemorate his 38th birthday. One of the pictures, posted on the Kensington Royal social media accounts, portray the Duke with his children Prince Louis on his lap, and Princess Charlotte and Prince George standing up next to them.

Over two million fans liked the post on Instagram, which was captioned: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a new picture of The Duke with Prince George,

Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis ahead of The Duke’s birthday tomorrow. The picture was taken earlier this month by The Duchess.”

In one of the photographs, Prince William can be seen rolling around in the grass with his children, smiling gleefully.

Another snap shows Prince William sharing a warm embrace with his father, the Prince of Wales.

The image was accompanied by a caption reading: “Happy Father’s Day!

But many fans spotted Princess Charlotte’s striking resemblance to her late grandmother, Diana.

One account shared a collage of Charlotte’s picture side-by-side with photos of Princess Diana at a young age, writing: “Charlotte looks like Diana here.”

Due to the current pandemic, Prince William is expected to celebrate his birthday Sandringham’s Anmer Hall.

Prince William, as well as other members of the royal family, has resumed in-person engagements in the past week.

The socially-distanced events saw the Duke meet frontline workers who have been fighting against the coronavirus pandemic.

In a clip shown on The One Show last month, the Duke praised key workers’ efforts saying: “We made the NHS frontline staff, rightly, heroes.
