A PRISON officer was left traumatised with horrific burns after being “napalmed” with sugared boiling water by a lag.
The victim, in his 20s, may need plastic surgery after the mixture stuck to skin under his right arm.
It was thrown at him at the door to the inmate’s cell at HMP Woodhill, Bucks.
He had only been in the job for 12 months.
Andy Baxter, of the Prison Officers’ Association, said: “He’s been through the full range of emotions and even believed at one stage this was just part of the job.
“But, he now realises everybody – whatever their job – has the right to work in as safe environment as possible.
