Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew have provided one of the most exciting royal romances in history.
The couple met a a polo game as children, and would play in the grounds, as Sarah’s father was a polo coach.
It wasn’t until much later in life that they were reintroduced by Princess Diana, shortly after she had married Prince Charles.
They began a romance that saw both the Prince and the public fall for the fun young Fergie.
The pair have two daughters, Princess Beatrice, 30, and Princess Eugenie, 29.
However, it was not to last, and the Duchess has since blamed the fact that Andrew worked for the navy and the absence his job caused for the problems in their relationship.
Since their divorce Sarah claimed she received £15,000 a year as a settlement. The Sunday Telegraph later printed information hat Sarah has received a lump sum settlement of £3 million.
Regardless, the Prince reportedly still feels indebted to his ex.

Sarah Ferguson wed Prince Andrew on 23 July 1986 at Westminster Abbey in London.
However, they divorced ten years later, after having been separated for a few years.
The couple maintained a close and amicable relationship most divorced couples can only dream of. In fact, they still live together in the Royal Lodge in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
A source told Vanity Fair that the royal feels indebted to his ex wife after their divorce.
“The Duke has a record of being loyal to his friends,” a royal source told the publication.
“Take his feelings for Sarah Ferguson. If you are a prince and you bring a woman into the royal life and, for whatever reasons, she’s spit out, you might have feelings of debt toward her.”
According to the source, the royal felt that his ex wife had been pushed out by the Royal Family.
“The duke feels that she’s been spattered and rejected,” they added.
“His close relationship with the Duchess of York is problematic, and there have been many problems over the last 5 to 10 years, all of which stem from the duchess.
“Some of the behaviour of the duchess is inconsistent with being married to, or an ex-wife of, the duke.”
Sarah Ferguson appeared at a London event this week amid Prince Andrew remarriage rumours.

Sarah is the second daughter of Major Ronald Ferguson and Susan Mary Wright.
Her parents divorced in 1974, with her mother going on to marry polo player Héctor Barrantes in 1975 and moving to Argentina. Sarah stayed in the UK with her father, who remarried in 1976 and went on to have three more children.
Sarah married Prince Andrew on 23 July 1986 at Westminster Abbey in London.

She has also been the US spokeswoman for WeightWatchers after famously battling her weight over the years.
On top of commercial endeavours, the Duchess devotes plenty of time to charity, including Children in Crisis, which she founded in 1993.
Fergie, as she is known to friends, uses both Twitter and Instagram.
She has over 200,000 followers across the platforms, and shares many insights in to her life.
Most of the Royal Family are not on social media, but are represented by Kensington Palace, Buckingham Palace, or Clarence House.
Sarah’s daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, are the exception, with both joining their mother on social media.
