SEAN Slater is about to make an explosive return to Albert Square as actor Rob Kazinsky pops back for a guest stint in the BBC soap.
Sean – who was branded a psycho by Kat Slater in last night’s episode – will definitely shake things up
Is Sean Slater Amy Branning’s real dad?
One of the first things he does is kidnap Amy Branning, which won’t go down well with her dad Jack because it’s not the first time he’s done it.
A trailer for Sean’s return showed him in a car with Amy after picking her up from school and saying her dead mum Roxy sent him.
So what’s going on in these strange scenes? Is Sean Amy’s real dad? Let’s remind ourselves…
Sean is NOT Amy’s dad Jack Branning is very much Amy’s dad following a one night stand with Roxy Mitchell. There’s even been a DNA test to prove it and everything.
The DNA result didn’t make Sean very happy though as he believed Amy was his daughter. He even married Roxy, convinced the three of them were going to be a family.
Roxy gave birth to Amy in November 2008 but the following December Jack demanded a DNA test which revealed he was indeed the daddy. Roxy was determined to keep this a secret though.
She was happy to think the baby was Sean’s because it would cause a huge rift with her sister Ronnie who was in an on/off relationship with Jack.
Roxy hid the test results but her dad Archie Mitchell found them and made a copy. He then presented them at Christmas dinner, with Roxy, Ronnie, Jack and Sean all there.

Archie wanted a reaction and he certainly got one. Sean attacked Jack and went on a massive rampage before stealing baby Amy and disappearing with her.
On New Year’s Day 2009, Sean convinced Roxy to leave Walford with him and Amy. But he was actually planning to drive them all into a frozen lake in a murder/suicide so they would die as a family.
Luckily Jack and Ronnie had followed them and helped save Roxy and Amy, leaving Sean for dead before he crawled – unseen – out of the water and walked off.
