Search for Leah Croucher, 19, sees police knock on 4,000 doors as distraught parents beg to have their ‘wonderful daughter back home’

FEARS were growing last night for a missing teenager as cops knocked on 4,000 doors and searched fields near her home.

Finance clerk Leah Croucher, 19, was last seen in person at her family home 12 days ago.

CCTV showed her walking to work as usual the next morning but she failed to show up. Search teams widened their hunt yesterday after divers failed to find any sign of her at lakes near her home in Milton Keynes, Bucks.

The disappearance is said to be “totally out of character” and police confirmed Leah had not used her phone or bank cards, or contacted friends.

A police helicopter, tracker dogs and a marine unit have all so far joined a team of 50 officers.

The local MK Dons football club ran an appeal on their big screens during Saturday’s home match against Newport County.

Dad John, 44, a black-belt taekwondo coach, and mum Claire, 44, said Leah is “a creature of habit who loves home comforts”.

Claire said: “She doesn’t really like pubs or clubbing much and generally comes home by 1am at the latest if she does go out.

“We want our beautiful, wonderful daughter back home with us. We love you so much.”
