Sergio Reguilon admits that Tottenham’s dramatic 3-3 draw with West Ham left him feeling ‘very angry’ following his side’s spectacular last-minute collapse.
Spurs stormed into a 3-0 lead after just 16 minutes, as Son Heung-min’s opener and Harry Kane’s quick-fire brace – one of which was set up by Reguilon – put Jose Mourinho’s men into a commanding position with all three points seemingly wrapped up.
However, after failing to close out the game with a number of chances, the Hammers roared back in the final eight minutes after Fabian Balbuena’s strike and a Davinson Sanchez own goal gave David Moyes’ side the momentum in the dying moments.

Then, in the fourth minute of added-time, second-half substitute Manuel Lanzini completed the spectacular comeback with a long-range screamer to match, sending the visitors into a frenzy as they rescued a point.
Abject disappointment was strewn across the faces of the Tottenham players at the full-time whistle, which left Reguilon enraged at the result.
‘It felt like a defeat,’ Reguilon told Sky Sports. ‘It was a big failure on our part, a big error. I was very angry afterwards. I didn’t want anything to do with anyone.

‘But in the end, it’s football, and in football, anything can happen. Hopefully we can put it behind us quickly.’
Reguilon has enjoyed a fine start to life in north London after helping Spurs beat rivals Chelsea in the Carabao Cup fourth round before starring in the 6-1 demolition job of Manchester United at Old Trafford.
His £30million switch from Real Madrid is seen as a major coup for Spurs, but his arrival was somewhat overshadowed by the return of Gareth Bale.
The duo ended up making their moves to Tottenham on the same day during the transfer window, and Reguilon has credited the Welshman with helping him decide on joining Spurs.

‘I spoke with Bale when I was in Madrid,’ Reguilon added. ‘He told me what it was like at Tottenham. It was helpful for me to come here with someone who was already a team-mate. I could ask him things, like how certain things were going to work.
‘The truth is he helped me a lot and so have the others. Since the first day, all my team-mates have welcomed me very nicely. They are always coming to me asking if there’s anything I need, or if there’s anything they can do, and they have helped me on the pitch too.
‘Bit by bit, I am getting to know them more as people, not just as players I know from the PlayStation or the television. Now, they are all in contact with me and I know them better. That really helps.’
Reguilon also revealed how Bale has become a much happier person following his Bernabeu departure.

Bale had fallen out of favour under Zinedine Zidane and was reduced to being left on the bench for the majority of last season – leaving the relationship between player and manager fractured and broken.
However, the 31-year-old has returned to a club where he is worshiped by the fans and Reguilon has noticed the change in mood.
‘He is very happy here and seems more like the person he really is,’ Reguilon said.
