SIMON Cowell’s incredible weight loss shocked Britain’s Got Talent viewers during the first live semi-final tonight.

The 59-year-old music mogul told The Sun last month he had ditched meat and adopted a vegan diet, the results of which were clearly on display this evening.

Simon showed off his trimmer physique in an unbuttoned white shirt as he sat alongside his fellow judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.

It didn’t go unnoticed by hosts Ant and Dec either, who commented on how well he looked.

He replied: “Thanks, I’ve been on a diet”.

Viewers at home took to Twitter to comment on Simon’s slimmed down appearance, with one writing: “Simon Cowell looks amazing! How has he managed to lose so much weight?”

Another added: “Simon looks amazing” while a third tweeted: “Simon Cowell has lost so much weight!!!”

A fourth agreed, writing: “Simon Cowell has lost SO MUCH weight he’s officially back at the top of my list of potential sugar daddies.”

Last month, Simon told The Sun he has swapped sausage rolls, hamburgers and his favourite jam tarts for steamed veg and a vegan diet.

He said: “If I was on a one to ten scale of being handsome, I was an eight and now I’ve gone to an 11.”

Simon has cut out meat, dairy, wheat, sugar and will soon give up fish, too. The beer and cigarettes he so loves have been curtailed to “occasional”.

The star – who had horrific fall on his stairs in October 2017 – explained: “A friend of mine, who is a doctor, recommended speaking to an expert, and I did it on a whim.

“Within 24 hours I changed my diet and I’ve not looked back since. You feel better, you look better.

“I cut out a lot of the stuff I shouldn’t have been eating and that was primarily meat, dairy, wheat, sugar — those were the four main things.”
