In the creepy clip, a huge Texas brown tarantula can be seen slowly crawling up a wall.

It is holding a sizeable white frog with its fangs and appears to be heading towards its webbed lair.

While it is unclear where the video was filmed, Texas brown spiders typically live in the south of the US.

Their legs can reach up to 10inches long and their body can weigh more than three ounces.

Females can live for more than 40 years, but their male counterparts rarely live more than a year.

The most recent video was posted to YouTube on Sunday.

Despite being known to be rather docile and non-aggressive, a bite from the breed may result in an allergic reaction.

And in some cases, tarantulas are bizarrely known to keep tiny frogs as pets.

They do so as frogs protect the tarantula’s eggs from becoming an ants meal.

And in return, the frog is protected by the massive spider.

It’s not the first time an unexpected tarantula has left viewers terrified.

Weeks ago a spider the size of a dinner plate killed a possum and dragged it across a forest floor.
