Slimmer Jeremy Clarkson shows off two-stone weight loss as he join girlfriend Lisa Hogan at book launch

JEREMY Clarkson showed off his two-stone weight loss as he attended a book launch with girlfriend Lisa Hogan last night.

The former Top Gear host, 59, supported pal Fatima Bhutta on her big night – after revealing his unusual dieting secrets.

The TV presenter sported his signature blazer and jeans combo at the bash, with girlfriend Lisa sporting a similarly laid-back style in jeans and a white T-shirt.

The couple began dating in March 2017, two years after he split from wife Frances Cain.

And slimmed-down Jeremy looked happier and healthier than ever at last night’s book launch.

The Sun columnist revealed earlier this year how he’d been taking dieting tips from Her Majesty – a health regime that didn’t involve the gym.

Asked if he’d been working out as well as eating well, he told us: “No. No, that would be unseemly.

“The Queen doesn’t go to the gym and she doesn’t run and she’s 93 and she’s all right.

“Apparently she only has a forkful, she only has a tiny bit, that’s what I’ve heard. She’ll sit down and just have one little bit of mousse and bit of a lettuce leaf.”

Jeremy’s confession came after he credited his weight loss with a year-long trip to South Asia with girlfriend Lisa.

Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, he dished: “I went on a gap year! I went on a gap year to Indochina. They just have a better diet out there.

“Plus I had a bicycle rather than a car. Cycling is not a good thing to do, I’m all broken as a result of it but I did lose a lot of weight.

“Where I was staying was separated from the small town by a mountain but it was much bigger than Everest.

“It was only 3 kilometres and I cycled it every day, I said, ‘I can’t have a drink unless I cycle into town’. I wanted to get fit.”
