THERESA May has managed to seal a deal in Europe – buying jewellery at a local boutique in Italy.
The former PM was spotted shopping in Sirmione on Lake Garda as she finally was able to let her hair down.
After she officially left office and passed the baton over to Boris Johnson last week, she decided to up sticks and embark on a well-deserved holiday.
And despite struggling to get her Brexit deal through the House of Commons three times, fashion-lover Mrs May appeared to have no trouble doing a deal on some new items.
The Maidenhead MP and husband Philip looked delighted to be away from the stress of Westminster and enjoy the sun.
The ex-Tory leader was snapped looking relaxed yesterday in a royal blue blouse, light summer trousers and white trainers.
Mr May was snapped in a patterned shirt and baseball cap to shield himself from the summer sun.
The couple have holidayed in Italy several times – including when she was PM.
Back in the UK her successor was on a whistle-stop tour of the UK trying to shore up his support.
And Boris has been demanding the EU abandon the hated Northern Ireland backstop before he comes back to the negotiating table.
If they don’t, Britain will leave the EU on October 31 without a deal, he’s stressed.
