TIGER WOODS grimaces and hobbles off in pain after a security guard slides into his ankle during the second round of the Masters.

The four-time green jacket winner was hitting his second shot to the 14th when the incredible flashpoint occurred.

Crowds swarmed Woods to get a glimpse of the 43-year-old’s shot when the guard ran in to protect the 14-time major champion.

But he slipped and went crashing into Woods’ right ankle with his knee.

Woods was shown grimacing and skipping off before amazingly going onto birdie the par-4.

He flexed his ankle but appeared to show little pain as he made his way to the 15th tee.

The grass was wet at Augusta National following a shower that came after a brief suspension of play for thunderstorms in the area.

Woods has a long history of injury problems – including Achilles trouble – so this was the last thing he needed.

And had he been taken out altogether then he could have damaged his back.

He had make or break spinal fusion surgery in 2017 – a fourth back operation – that was successful and allowed him to keep playing.
