Despite keeping up his work-out regime, the hunk revealed his weight gain during last night’s grand final.

When asked by Caroline Flack how he coped when Molly was away for a few days he admitted turning to mayo.

“I was walking around with me head in the clouds, I didn’t know what to do with myself,” he said.

“I was eating a bucketful of mayonnaise every day. I’ve put on a stone in weight from just mayonnaise! That’s what Casa Amor did for me.”

As Caroline laughed, Tommy looked shy that his strange eating habit had been revealed.

Tommy first showed his love of mayonnaise when he whipped up cheese on toast with mayo and ketchup for a date with Maura Higgins.

Tommy, brother of professional boxer Tyson Fury, was one of the first islanders to enter the villa.

Molly-Mae followed soon after, as the first female bombshell sent in to shake things up.

They coupled up following their date and aside from a brief wobble when Maura entered, they have remained tight ever since.

Despite being the only boyfriend and girlfriend in the villa they lost out on winning the show to Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea.

Meanwhile, today fans feared for Molly-Mae after the nickname Money Mae began trending on Twitter last night.

Throughout the series the 20-year-old reality star had been plagued by claims she’d “faked” her feelings for Tommy in a bid to win the show’s £50k prize.

And when she only managed second place in last night’s final, some viewers claimed she was once again feigning her happiness for Amber and Greg and was gutted about losing out on the money.

Her doubters instantly took to Twitter to mock her runner-up finish, prompting the mean nickname Money Mae – which fans coined earlier in the series – to start trending.

Some fans even launched a voting strategy to stop Molly-Mae and Tommy from winning the show.

Ahead of last night’s final savvy viewers came up with plan that encouraged others to vote for Amber and Greg – and not Ovie, despite him being everyone’s favourite.
