TELLY chef Gordon Ramsay wants a £40,000 wooden “igloo” built at one of his four Cornish properties.
The Hell’s Kitchen star wants it as a guest house for family and friends at his home near the trendy village of Rock.
It is thought to be made by Estonian-based Iglucraft, which sells Nordic-style saunas and cabins.
A planning application on his behalf says the height and width would be 2.3m (7½ft) and it would be 8.7m (28½ft) long.
The application stated: “It would provide semi-independent self-contained accommodation for the applicant’s family and visiting friends but used as accommodation incidental to the enjoyment of the main property.
“Providing space for a bed, kitchen/living room area and toilet, the outbuilding would have a insulated wooden frame faced externally with spruce shingles and finished internally with aspen wall panelling and an insulated floor.”

Ramsay, 52, has spent millions buying and renovating properties in the area, including refurbishing an old Lloyds Bank building in Fowey.
The potty-mouthed dad of five has also reportedly sought permission to install two igloos at his £7million London mansion after David Beckham and Guy Ritchie bought similar lodges.
