On Tuesday, “sunnier areas” will “become warm with temperatures climbing into the mid 20Cs”.
And into Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, “southern and central regions have a good deal of dry and bright weather.”
But ahead of this warm weather the north and west will have to contend with much more changeable conditions with spells of rain.
The most persistent rain is expected across western Scotland, Northern Ireland and north-west England on Monday.
The coming weekend will likely see conditions to warm up again as high pressure migrates from across continental Europe and a southerly flow develops.
