US businesswoman admits to Boris Johnson affair, plans to live together in NYC

An American businesswoman has admitted to having a years-long affair with British leader Boris Johnson — saying they even talked about starting a new life together in New York, according to a new interview.

Jennifer Arcuri, 35, was previously investigated over allegations she received money and perks while Johnson was mayor of London — but always played coy about long-standing rumors of an affair.

She finally admitted it in an interview with the Daily Mail newspaper, saying it “goes without saying” that they had an affair — and hinted that she is even using it as the plot for a new TV comedy series.

“It’s pretty much out there,” she said of the numerous stories detailing their dalliances while Johnson was married to now-ex-wife Marina Wheeler, the mother of four of his kids.

“There was a kind of reckless, blind passion that he showed me,” she said of the now-56-year-old prime minister.

“He reeked of it. He cared about me — when I walked in a room, everyone knew,” she told the UK paper.

“You’d have to be a fool not to get swept away by those avalanches of passion, especially when you’re singled out as a young woman in London,” she insisted, saying it happened “over years” after meeting in 2011.

“Boris wanted to drink wine, have sex and be totally involved in politics,” she said, highlighting the reason for their eventual break-up in 2016 because she knew she “wanted to be a mom and to settle down.”

Arcuri said she “cared for him very deeply” but “never used the L word” — while “Boris falls fast and hard and he loves being over the top.”

Still, they were serious enough to discuss moving to New York — where Johnson was born — to live together as a political power couple, she told the Mail.

“When we went to New York on a business trip, I remember saying to him, ‘Don’t screw this up. New Yorkers will see right through the buffoon act, so you’ve got to go there and be a strong leader.’

“I would have been a good political partner for him,” she insisted, adding that she did not benefit financially from her relationship with Johnson.

“It’s not true,” Arcuri said.

Arcuri said she is only speaking out after being portrayed as “this temptress American bimbo who came over to this country and took advantage of an emotionally weak leader.”

“Nothing could be further from the truth,” she said.

She also revealed that she is now working “with a team of writers” on a fictionalized comedy-drama about a young American woman and her political encounters in London — saying with an impish grin, “What do you think the show’s about?”

Her ex-lover has now settled down with fiancee Carrie Symonds, who gave birth to the PM’s six-month-old son, Wilf, this year.

“I wish them well,” Arcuri said, before adding, “I don’t think it will last.”
