Watch as Dani Ceballos becomes instant hero with an incredible display of ‘s***housery’ during Arsenal’s victory at Newcastle

ARSENAL’S new Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos has become an instant hero for what has been described as “ultimate s***housery” in the win at Newcastle.

A solitary Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang goal saw Unai Emery’s boys triumph in their Premier League opener at St James’ Park.

But as the clock ticked into injury-time, second half sub Ceballos announced himself in his own special way to Arsenal fans.

Newcastle defender Javier Manquillo had shepherded the ball out for a goal kick, and then attempted to kick the ball to keeper Martin Dubravka for the re-start.

But Ceballos nipped in a kicked the ball away, before running off and pointing at an imaginary watch and urging the ref to blow for full-time.

Unsurprisingly, Arsenal fans loved it.

Gunner ‘Ryan’ wrote on Twitter: “Ultimate s***housery which we can all get behind.”

Another wrote: “I actually like that he’s a bastard”, and another commented “legend already”.

Others were left hoping that Arsenal take up the option to buy at the end of the season for “something we should be proud of”.

Aubameyang ensured Steve Bruce’s reign as Newcastle head coach began with a defeat as Arsenal launched their new Premier League campaign with victory on Tyneside.

Aubameyang’s assured 58th-minute strike was enough to secure a 1-0 victory in a tight encounter at a rain-soaked St James’ Park.

The game was played out in front of a crowd of 47,635, almost 5,000 below capacity, as some fans staged a boycott over owner Mike Ashley’s running of the club.

And while the Magpies gave as good as they got for long periods – Jonjo Shelvey hit a post before the break – they struggled to create chances and were made to pay for it.
