GREEN JERSEY winner Peter Sagan made sure to get in on the fun as Egan Bernal toasted his own Tour de France triumph on Sunday.

As the youngest winner of the race in 110 years, Bernal rode into Paris with his Team INEOS colleagues and posed for a photo along the way.

While the Colombian and Co. raised a glass of champagne, Sagan emerged in the background and photobombed the shot.

The Czech prankster hung around for a moment before scooting round and heading off, chuckling as he departed.

When claiming his seventh Green Jersey the day before, Sagan was in celebratory mood and crossed the line while pulling a wheelie.

And he made one fan’s day earlier in the week when managing to sign an autograph mid-race.

The plucky attendee ran alongside his hero and handed him a pen and paper, and he duly obliged while maintaining his pace.

Sagan won the fifth stage of the 2019 Tour.

It counted as his 12th career stage victory with his domination of the points classification event reinstated having lost the Green Jersey in 2017.

After coming home in Paris, the 29-year-old said: “I’m very happy about this seventh green jersey.

“I’m also surprised. Every year I come back to try my best.

“I’m glad I’m making history in the Tour de France with the green jersey.”
