BRUNO FERNANDES brought Manchester United fans back down to earth after their thumping win over Chelsea, with an unbelievable piece of skill.
The Sporting Lisbon midfielder put the ball one side of a Maritimo defender and then sprinted past him on the other side.
The defender — who appears to be Maritimo full-back Ruben — was left in no-man’s land as Fernandes, 24, put the ball into the box.
Earlier in the game, it was Fernandes who set up the equaliser for Sebastian Coates after 29 minutes after Getterson’s third-minute opener for the home side, and that’s how the scores finished.
Both Manchester United and Tottenham were keen to sign the Portugal international, but both clubs suspected they were being played by a transfer fee that constantly.
Spurs were the last club involved in the transfer, but instead went in big for Real Betis’ Giovanni Lo Celso and Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon.
United distanced themselves from the transfer far earlier in the window, suspecting they were being milked by the agents.

Rio Ferdinand expressed his disappointment United did not go for a player who impressed the likes of Jurgen Klopp in pre-season.
The former Old Trafford defender said: “I love the fact that he’s invested his belief on [Marcus] Rashford and [Anthony] Martial by getting rid of [Romelu] Lukaku.
“I was surprised he didn’t go into the midfielder area. I would have loved the idea of Bruno Fernandes.
“He must be looking to rekindle Paul Pogba’s form.”
