A WEALTHY American teen accused of murdering an Italian cop has been pictured cuffed and blindfolded in a Rome police station.
Gabrial Natale-Hjorth, 18, was pictured tied to a chair after being arrested on suspicion of knifing newlywed plain clothes cop Mario Cerciello with pal Finnegan Elder, 19.
The Californian pair were hauled from their luxury hotel last week after Cerciello was stabbed nearby the night before.
He allegedly confronted the teens as they tried to organise a drug deal.
A local police chief claimed Natale-Hjorth was blindfolded “for a very few minutes, four or five”.
Tying up suspects is illegal in Italy.
The officer who blindfolded him reportedly did so to stop him seeing documents related to the investigation.
The two men were holidaying in Italy after graduating from school in Mill Valley, near San Francisco.
