Hyde Park Corner was gripped by road rage chaos last night after a horror smash saw a woman wedged between two cars and a suspect Tasered – all just yards from the Queen’s estate.
Terrifying footage shows commuters scramble to help the woman as she wails out in agony trapped between a black Mercedes and a light-blue Range Rover.
The Range Rover can be seen reversing, freeing the woman. It remains unclear whether the vehicle was moved by the driver, police or a member of the public.
Video recorded by a passenger on a bus shows cops swoop amid scenes of panic following the horror smash on Hyde Park Corner at around 8.15 pm on Sunday.
“She had got out of her car before being struck by the other car as it attempted to drive away”
Cops said the woman became involved in a blazing row with another driver. She then reportedly stepped out of her vehicle to confront the driver before he ran into her while attempting to get away.
In dramatic scenes, the woman was later airlifted to a London hospital where her injuries are described as non-life threatening.
Met Police later confirmed that the assailant was Tasered then arrested following the horror crush.
Reports suggest a second man was taken to hospital following the smash after he started to feel unwell.
A spokesman for the Met said: “At this early stage it is believed she was the occupant of a car who became involved in a dispute with another car.
“She had got out of her car before being struck by the other car as it attempted to drive away.
“An altercation occurred after the collision and one man – no further details – was arrested at the scene on suspicion of affray.
“He has been taken into police custody after a Taser was discharged during the arrest.”
