It is believed “sugar babies” in Cambridge are on the rise with some women making more than £2,000 per month.
According to the Seeking Arrangements website, millions of students are taking on these roles as a way to pay off their loans.
Nearly 900 students from the University of Cambridge are signed up to SA, making it the 13th most popular destination for sugar baby activities in the country.
Speaking to Cambridgeshire Live, a 23-year-old woman lifted the lid on what goes on behind closed doors.
“I was a student when I began using the site”
She said: “I was a student when I began using the site. I chose to date a higher class of man to help me supplement my living costs.
“If I do receive financial or physical gifts, the amount varies. I’d say if they are helping me with my bills, I’m gifted about £2,000 per month.
“In total I’ve probably been gifted about £10,000 since finding my most recent Sugar Daddy.”
“I have travelled a little bit throughout the country and to a few other big cities. Sometimes we go to concert events or Broadway shows.”
The anonymous woman revealed her most expensive trip was to Paris for four days last year.
She’s been handed a Rolex, a few designer shoes, Louboutins and Louis Vuitton bags.
When asked if she has sex with her Sugar Daddies, the woman responded: “It’s no different than having a boyfriend of the same day, who is rich and can splurge on fancy dinners or gifts.”
She continued: “I have yet to meet one with a fetish but my friend has met a few with some interesting request.
“I see my partners maybe two or three times a week. I prefer to date one person at a time.
“I also chat with my past Sugar Daddies all the time. They have bene great influences in my life.”
