The Hoops are selling “Kiltees” for £25 – which is a bizarre two-in-one Celtic football shirt.
The traditional green and white shirt can be untucked and turned into a makeshift kit below.
The design leaves fans of the Glaswegian club looking like they are sporting a shirt and kilt at the same time.
But the Kiltees, which is supposed to add a “touch of Scottish tradition”, haven’t gone down well with fans.
One supporter spotted the design at an airport and said on Twitter: “Can anyone please explain WTF this is ? Glasgow Airport Celtic Store??”
To promote the design, a gif has been made showing a guy with what looks like a normal Celtic shirt tucked into his jeans.
He then pulls his shirt out of his trousers and pulls the lower part of the design – a kilt – over his legs.
One fan jokingly reacted to the gif: “When you’re at home to St. Johnstone at 3, but have a wedding reception at 6”
The official Celtic website describes the Kiltee, which also features the traditional belt and sporran, as “perfect for showing your support”.
Its release comes after Celtic ended the season with its eighth consecutive league title.
The club also secured the League Cup for the third consecutive season as arch-rival Rangers continue to try to find a way past the champions.
