Zack Wheeler hasn’t fully shaken the Mets out of his system.

Wheeler, who left the Mets after seven seasons to join the rival Phillies on a five-year, $118 million deal in the offseason, is having his next start pushed back because he injured a nail on his pitching hand while putting on his pants.

“It’s very sore,” manager Joe Girardi said Thursday night. “You can’t make this up.”

Wheeler, 30, will be pushed back from Saturday’s scheduled start against the Marlins to Monday, at earliest, meaning he won’t appear in the three-game series against the Mets, beginning Tuesday.

The right-hander has been spectacular in his first season in Philadelphia, going 4-0 with a 2.47 ERA, 36 strikeouts and nine walks, while throwing no fewer than 5 2/3 innings in any of his eight starts.
